So we’re putting all that to rights with our 1-day Introduction to SEO. We’re giving you the whole picture – not simply how it all works, but everything you need to do, literally step by step.

We start with the mechanics of writing effective copy, so your visitors will have the best experience when they find you. Here we’ll cover:

- How to build interest & desire for different types of readers
- How to increase conversion and stop visitors leaving your site
- When to sell, when to inform, and when to give away your expertise
Session 2: writing search-friendly content
Now your message is working for people, we adapt it so it’ll work simultaneously for the search engines. Including:
- How to choose your keywords – and why you should avoid the most popular terms
- Where to find niches that will get you straight to the top of the rankings
- The 5 keyword ‘filters’ (make sure your keywords tick every one of these boxes)
- The myths about keyword density...and the importance of placement
- How to balance your keywords so people and searchbots are getting what they need
Session 3: enhancing the message
- How web pages are read: what can you learn from the latest studies of user behaviour?
- How to build a relationship with visitors and bring them back to your site every month
- How to make sure your newsletters actually get opened!
- How to beat spam filters (this is a strictly ethical approach)
Session 4: maximising your efforts
- Indexing & Meta Content: setting a clear trail for the spiders...
